About Me

I am a software developer based in Calgary, Alberta, and I have recently completed the Object Oriented Software Development program at SAIT. I am an enthusiastic student of user-friendly, intuitive, and attractive design and am applying this passion to create innovative websites in a full-stack capacity. I am always researching new languages and technologies and working on new projects to take my coding to the next level. I enjoy working closely with clients to help them realize their vision for a project.

My Skills
JavaScipt/TypeScript
I have built multiple websites using TypeScript or JavaScript to power the front and back-ends.
React
I have used this powerful tool for multiple projects. My personal favorite for web development.
NodeJS
I have built multiple websites that use Node.ja as the back-end runtime environment.
SQL
I have built, modified, maintained and queried databases in mySQL and SQLServer for applications I have created.
C#
I have used C# and Windows technologies to build multi-layered desktop applications and websites.
Java
I have worked with Java in a Linux environment to create web, mobile and desktop applications based entirely on open source technology.
Git/Github
I have grown proficient in version control technology working on multiple collaborative projects.
Python
My first programming language. I have used it to program a RaspberryPi, work on a video game, and am currently studying Python machine learning.

  • Hosted through AWS Amplify, domain purchased through AWS Route 53
  • Email form service configured through AWS SES and AWS API Gateway

Covid dashboard site and custom REST API, displaying relevant statistics based on user location: Deploying soon! WIP Link: Github link

  • Dashboard built using TypeScript, React, axios and react-bootstrap
  • REST API built with TypeScript and hosted with Node.js
